Pauley Perrette, the former star of NCIS, commemorated the one-year anniversary of her significant stroke on September 2. Reflecting on a challenging life that included the loss of loved ones, health scares such as a severe hair dye allergy, surviving domestic violence and rape, and an attack by a homeless person, she expressed gratitude for her rescue dogs and friends.
In May 2018, Perrette departed from NCIS after a remarkable 15-season run, declaring she would “never” return. Her departure was linked to discomfort with former co-star Mark Harmon, and she alleged “multiple physical assaults” on set. Subsequently, in 2020, she appeared in the short-lived CBS comedy “Broke.”
