“NCIS” actor Sean Murray recently voiced support for the ongoing writers’ strike on Instagram, sharing SAG-AFTRA posters along with the hashtag #SAGAFTRAstrong. Fans rallied in solidarity, while fellow co-star Brian Dietzen hinted at uncertainties regarding the return to work amid the strike. The 21st season of “NCIS” is slated to resume in the fall, aligning with the CBS 2023 fall schedule, which will feature reruns in September.
The writers’ strike, initiated by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) on May 2, has caused disruptions in Hollywood productions. The writers are advocating for a stable pay structure, salary increases, and safeguards against the use of artificial intelligence in scriptwriting. This strike marks the end of 15 years of industry labor peace.
