Maureen McCormick: The Good Brady Gone Bad!

As Marcia Brady in the classic sitcom The Brady Bunch, Maureen McCormick rose to fame. As the ideal adolescent daughter on TV, she immediately captured the hearts of millions with her innocent persona and all-American charm. However, the cheery, family-friendly environment she depicted was very different from life off the set.

In stark contrast to her television character, McCormick encountered difficulties as she entered adulthood. She faced a challenging path as a result of the demands of early celebrity coupled with personal struggles. She battled for years against obstacles that put her fortitude to the test and endangered her career.

McCormick never wavered in her resolve to change her life in spite of these obstacles. To get through the more difficult parts of her life, she turned to her family, her faith, and a newly discovered sense of self.

Today, Maureen is viewed as a lady who overcame hardship and took back her life, rather than as “the Brady gone bad.
